Defending champion Nadal is drawn to face Murray in the SFs of Wimbledon again in a rematch of last year's SF.
Both players have come off from early wobbles, each dropping two sets a piece en route to the SF:
- Nadal dropped a 3-6 set against del Potro in the fourth round, as well as losing a 5-7 set against Fish in his previous QF round.
- Murray dropped a 4-6 set against Gimeno-Traver in his opening round match, as well as losing another 4-6 set this time to Ljubicic in the third round.
Nadal has come off a physical scare, declaring a sharp pain from his left foot, as well as having tougher time getting to the SF since then; including testing wins by avenging Muller, then losing a set each to del Potro and Fish en route to the SF.
Since Murray's early round wobbles particularly against Gimeno-Traver and against Ljubicic, he had dismissed Gasquet and Lopez in straight sets en route to SF.
Who will win this rematch? Will Murray defy the odds and send the home crowd in a frenzy by reaching his first Wimbledon final? Or will Nadal end his dreams once again by giving himself another chance to defend his Wimbledon crown for the first time in his career? All will be revealed tonight, but for now, vote and discuss.
